December 23rd
We are officially sold out for the Christmas '09 season. Thanks to all our customers that supported us all year long.
Not one single cookie on sight, now I can relax a little and enjoy some of the wonderful treats my friends have been kind enough to give me. Chocolate truffles from Leah and Haley, homemade cookies from Alice, chocolate from Beth Ann....
Last couple of orders waiting to be picked up.

Christmas sneak peak
Santa is coming to town!
Polar bear, part of the Winter collection
Can't help to feel sorry for this adorable melting snowman.
Our peppermint collection. We loved the colors of this one. The candy cane was redesigned this year to make it a little bolder and less prone to breakage.
The grinch; this is not part of my regular offerings. It was a last minute custom order we worked on last week, but I loved the guy and he is part of the holiday season so I wanted to include him on this post.
Look back by the end of the week and the Christmas flyer should be here.

Slumber Party
A really fun project from last weekend. The customer didn't have anything specific on mind, she just wanted something girly and fun and since she was going to celebrate with a slumber party we came up with this themed bucket that included b-day girl, pj's, bunny slippers and a bowl of popcorn. Some flowers, individual popcorn shaped cookies and rice krispy squares complemented the theme.
Showing gratitude
After almost a week at the hospital following quad bypass surgery my cousin was extremely grateful to go home today. He wanted to present the hospital staff with a special thank you and we came up with this bouquet idea. I wanted to include a nurse on it to show gratitude to all of them. The heart with the band-aid was my sister`s idea and we complemented that with a bottle of tylenol and some flowers in colors to match.

Farm Animals
My friend Teresa needed a special gift to send her mom in Montana, so she ordered a cookie bouquet with a blue farm, two brown horses, three cows (that were butchered already), three redish hens and two gray cats (one of them three legged). I added mom & dad & a tractor.
It was a fun project to work on and I was very pleased with the result. I'll keep my fingers crossed that all cookies will get to her intact.
